The City’s Tourism and Arts Commission (TAC) will soon be starting the Grant Application Cycle for Fiscal Year 2019 (May 1, 2018, to April 30, 2019). Each year, TAC reviews applications requesting money to help fund local events, programs, and projects that promote tourism, the arts, and overnight hotel stays at Warrenville hotels. In the past, local events such as the Concerts in the Commons, WMC Productions musicals, Warrenville in Bloom, and baseball and softball tournaments have received funding. Funds can be used to help underwrite the cost of an event or activity, pay for capital expenses, or cover the costs of promotional materials.
To assist new and returning applicants, TAC will host a grant workshop at City Hall, on Thursday, August 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The workshop will explain the grant process, answer questions, and application forms will be available. Click here for more information.
