Warrenville Showcases "Art on the Prairie"

Stafford Place near the Library is the scene for Art on the Prairie. This annual fall event includes displays of jewelry, photography, painting, stained glass, ceramics and mixed media. Art enthusiasts can browse and purchase fi ne art, view artist demonstrations and enjoy live music and dance performances. A children’s art station encourages hands-on art exploration. Food and beverage vendors will also be at the fair.

While you are at this annual fall festival, stop by the Library booth to hear about upcoming programs and events, including National Library Card Sign-up Month. Also, the Library is open for business throughout the art fair so come inside and explore the updated features and amenities. Of course, ask any librarian to help you fi nd books and other materials about art. You can even admire works by local artists while relaxing in our new Quiet Study Room.

Parking for the event is available in the Library’s lower level parking lot off of Manning Avenue. It is not too late for artists to reserve a space at the art fair. For more information, call the Warrenville Park District at 630/393-7279 or visit warrenvilleparks.org.

Art on the Prairie is sponsored by the Warrenville Park District, City of Warrenville, Warrenville Public Library District and a City of Warrenville Hotel/Motel Tax Grant.
