The City of West Chicago has announced its annual call for vendors for the 2019 Blooming Fest event which will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The festival brings thousands of people out to Main Street to browse and buy plants, garden-related items and assorted handcrafts. The festival has also become known for the garden-related resources it brings to the community through the involvement of horticulture giants like Ball Horticultural Company, Burpee Seeds, Illinois Extension Master Gardener Program and more.
Currently garden, craft, and food vendors are being asked to submit applications to be part of this signature event in West Chicago. Forms are available online at http://westchicago.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Vendor-Registration-Packet_BF-2019.pdf.
“Vendors won’t want to miss the opportunity to be a part of this beloved community event. We encourage vendors to submit their applications early, as spaces fill up quickly,” said Bethany Bayci, Special Events Coordinator.
