THE HYSTERICAL THRILLER

Cast members are listening for a clue during rehearsal for “Clue” at West Chicago Community High School Nov. 5 & 6. (L to R) Jazmin Wilkins, Philip Calabrese, Ava Fini, Michael Angeles, and Katherine Vander Plaats.

Wego Drama continues their season by bringing live theatre to the audience with the hysterical whodunit, “Clue: On Stage”. Performances are Nov. 5 and 6, 2021 at 7 p.m. in Weyrauch Auditorium at West Chicago Community High School, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults available at wegotheatre.com or at the door. Proper masks are required for all audience members.

Based on the Parker Brothers board game and the 1984 movie, “Clue: On Stage” is the perfect mystery show to keep the audience guessing and spark some debate. Join the classic characters of Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Col. Mustard as they try and figure out who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon.

Wego Drama senior Ava Fini states, “It is a wonderful play.  I have loved this show for years and laugh constantly.”

Philip Calabrese continues, “Playing a character that everyone knows from the game is pretty cool.  I remember playing the game and now actually being a character is really fun.”

Elizabeth Ryan adds, “There are so many twists and surprises, even in the set.  Having the ability to do this show live on stage is quite incredible.  Even if someone saw the movie from the 1980s, they are guaranteed to be surprised by the stage show.”
