Phishing Scam Reminder: Tips to Protect Yourself
Scammers sometimes send emails that look official and may use City logos or City-style language. Here are a few quick ways to protect yourself and avoid phishing scams.
1) When in doubt, contact the City directly
If you ever receive an email that seems suspicious or unexpected, do not click links or open attachments. Call City Hall and we will help you confirm if it is real. (630) 836-3050

Even if the name looks official, the email address may not be.
