Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School kicks off the 23-24 theatrical season with their New Directors Showcase: The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon by Don Zolidis. This hysterical comedy brings to life the classic fairy tales in a new and revised way. It is a very face-paced and clever farce. It is a great way to start the Wego Drama season theme of “Once More With Feeling.”
Senior Alex Bradley, states, “This show is full of goofiness and is sure to make people of all ages laugh.” Additionally, Senior Ryley Salazar adds, “I’ve found myself erupting in laughter numerous times throughout the rehearsal process.” Finally, Junior Mariah Varnado states, “I know that no matter how many times I have seen the show, I laugh every time; it is a great one to bring the whole family to see.”

The play is directed by Alex Bradley, Ryley Salazar, and Mariah Varnado. Mark Begovich sponsors the Wego Drama production. Technical Direction is by Christopher Jensen. Costumes are by Kim Maslo.
General admission seating tickets are now on-sale at www.wegotheatre.com. Tickets will also be available at the door. The price is $5 for students and $8 for adults.
