Schools of Illinois Public Cooperative (SIPC) is proud to announce that West Chicago Community High School District 94 has been awarded Platinum status for their Buildings & Grounds Management practices.
The mission of the SIPC is to assist its members in ensuring that their buildings and grounds are clean, healthy, efficient and safe.
The Schools of Illinois Public Cooperative was founded in 2009 by a group of Illinois school administrators to address both the cost and effectiveness of school building maintenance. The cooperative is a non-profit organization operated under an intergovernmental agreement. SIPC serves 560+ members that benefit from no-cost access to the SIPC IN-SITE facility management program. Membership is free and available schools in Illinois and surrounding states as well as local government entities and non-profit organizations.
In addition to K-12 Building Expert services and certifications, SIPC Publishes RFPs and awards bids on behalf of our members under the SIPC intergovernmental agreement. This eliminates the bid process for our members for awarded products and services, eliminating the time and expenses associated with the RFP process for our members.
CHSD 94 joined the cooperative in 2024 and has worked with SIPC/HD Supply K-12 Building Experts to ensure that all buildings and grounds in the district are being maintained properly to deliver clean, safe, healthy, efficient buildings throughout the district. A 100-point site assessment was conducted in January and the district received a perfect score, qualifying them for PLATINUM Certification by the SIPC.
Phillip Olson, SIPC/HD Supply K-12 Building Expert gives high praise to district administration, the district’s building and grounds director and maintenance staff, saying “The district has put all of the proper processes, staff, equipment and products, and training in place to ensure that all buildings on campus are managed at the highest level of cleanliness, safety, building health andefficiency. SIPC and HD Supply are proud to partner with CHSD 94 and to have the opportunity share the news of their success.”
