Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School continues the season with The New Margo, a suspenseful thriller. The play tells the story of young college women who are obsessed with crime thrillers. They become confused about why one of the group has undergone a major make-over. They collectively try to discover why the “new” Margo has joined the group. The Wego Drama season theme is “Life Is A Mystery!” Be ready for some shocks and thrills.
Jordin Crudup, the student director, states, “I’m glad that I have the opportunity to do something new. I feel proud of the cast and crew for the work that we are doing. I am exceptionally proud to share it with the community. I hope everyone comes and enjoys the thrills.”
The company of actors and crew for the show includes from Carol Stream: Ava Bloniarz and Micaela Jaramillo Acosta; from West Chicago: Abigail Ballard, Perla Bucio, Charlotte Conger, Jordin Crudup, Dilan Galvan, Daisy Munoz, Elisa O’Brien, and Emma Duran Rosales; and from Winfield: Tyler Benton, and Ja’Nyah Villa.
The play is student directed by Jordin Crudup. The Technical Direction and design is by Christopher Jensen. Mark Begovich is the Wego Drama sponsor.
The New Margo is written by Stephen Gregg and presented by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing, Woodstock, IL.
