
Kim Coyne has long admired PRC’s mission and is excited to serve on the Board.
Professionally, Kim brings extensive experience in banking, finance, and leadership. She serves as SVP Head of Retail and CRA Officer at Wheaton Bank & Trust where she leads the retail division and develops strategies to support customers and communities.
Kim first became involved with PRC in 2019 through the Financial Literacy Task Force and later joined the Finance Committee, deepening her understanding of PRC’s work and impact. Kim has led groups of her banking colleagues to volunteer in PRC’s food pantry. She is inspired by the values that drive PRC and the passion of its volunteers and looks forward to contributing to the organization’s continued success.
Kim has served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees, including the Downtown Naperville Alliance, The Alive Center in Naperville, Rebuilding Together Aurora, and Rotary Clubs in Bolingbrook and Naperville. Kim is eager to leverage her professional expertise and extensive volunteer experience to support PRC’s mission.

John Harrold has been a dedicated PRC volunteer for thirteen years, and he is excited for the opportunity to serve on the Board.
John is a retired educator, writer, and editor with a lifelong passion for literacy, teaching, and community engagement. He holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Over his career, John taught students of all ability levels, supervised student publications, and contributed to curriculum development.
John has been a literacy volunteer at PRC since 2012, tutoring clients in English as a Second Language, GED, TOEFL, and citizenship preparation. He has also served as a language assessment tester and has collaborated with the Jobs Assistance program to help clients develop job-seeking skills. For the past two years, John has been a volunteer Ambassador for PRC, representing the organization to community groups across DuPage County. John’s wife Therese has also joined the PRC volunteer team.
PRC’s warm, supportive, and respectful culture drew John to volunteer where the neighbors we serve are encouraged and valued. He is inspired by the dedication of PRC’s volunteers and the breadth of services provided to those in need. John looks forward to contributing to his skills, experience, and commitment to advancing PRC’s mission through his service on the Board.
