The Illinois Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Reinhart of Ford Motor Company as its new Board Chairman. Tony was elected during todayʼs board meeting, held at the DuPage Foundation in Downers Grove.
“Being elected to serve as Chairman of the Illinois Chamber is a true honor,” said Tony Reinhart of Ford Motor Company. “I appreciate the confidence of the Board and look forward to building on the progress weʼve made, working alongside my fellow board members, and continuing to advance the Chamberʼs mission across Illinois.”
Tony Reinhart serves as Director of State and Local Government A{airs for Ford Motor Company, leading the companyʼs state and local legislative and policy e{orts nationwide. During his more than 30-year career with Ford, he has held key leadership roles in government relations and corporate affairs. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Alliance for Automotive Innovation and is a past chair of the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association, helping shape policy for the automotive and autonomous vehicle industries. Tony also serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Calumet Industrial Commission, and Chicago Civic Federation, and chairs the Ford Civic Action Fund. He and his wife, Michel, have two daughters, Lauren and Hannah.

I am confident the Illinois Chamber is well-positioned for continued success, and I am honored to pass the mantle to someone as respected and accomplished as Tony.”
