The U.S. Chamber is bringing the voice of American business to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City.

Why it matters: From strengthening economic partnerships to expanding trade and investment, the U.S. Chamber is engaging with leaders from government and business on the issues shaping the global economy.

Highlights of the U.S. Chamber’s engagements include:

• The U.S. Chamber's Chief International Affairs Officer Joshua Walker led a high-level meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on September 23. Hosted by Citi and its CEO Jane Fraser, the meeting brought together U.S. business leaders from the defense, energy, financial, and insurance sectors to hear President Zelenskyy's vision for Ukraine's post-war economic renewal.

• The U.S. Chamber and the U.S. Department of State's Bureau for Global Health Security and Diplomacy convened the high-level dialogue, “One Year On: Progress, Partnerships, and the Path Forward.” The event marks the second year the U.S. Chamber and the State Department have formally convened senior leaders around the America First Global Health Strategy, building on the landmark forum held at UNGA in September 2025.
• The U.S. Chamber hosted an event in celebrating 100 years of U.S.-Türkiye diplomatic relations, with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Chobani CEO and Chair of the Chamber’s U.S.-Turkiye Business Council Hamdi Ülükaya, and Suzanne P. Clark, U.S. Chamber President and CEO participating.

Looking ahead: The conversations in New York come at a pivotal moment as the U.S. Chamber is set to host the B20 USA Summit this November. The premier gathering will unite business leaders from the world’s 20 largest economies to advocate for policies that drive growth around the world.
